Graduated from the Oil Painting Department of MUSASHINO Art University, specializing in oil painting with a focus on the human body at the École des Beaux-Arts in Besançon, France during studies.

In 1978, embarked on a freelance career as an illustrator.

Subsequently, working primarily on advertising, packaging, educational publications, and more, encountered a dancer who inspired with the fluidity of life within dance, providing a new impetus for self-expression.

Engaging in solo exhibitions and seeking creative spaces in Paris, France...

​

One day, felt compelled to pick up a brush and paint a large pumpkin on a stand, laughing amidst the snow at a market.

​

In 2001, moved to Yahiko Village in Niigata Prefecture, where began to wonder if something from the depths of oneself might flow out as lived amidst mountains, the sea, and islands.

Since then, continued to pursue the beauty of life to its fullest.
